Alright ladies (and ladies' supporters!) – it's time to celebrate! March is Women’s History Month, a time to celebrate the vital role women have played throughout American history, as well as the role we continue to play today. At Women Owned, we have seen the incredible contributions women make to the economy and their communities every single day, and they are just that – INCREDIBLE.
Today, there are nearly 13 million women-owned businesses in the U.S., an incredible amount considering there were just 402,000 women-owned firms in 1972. As a nod to the progress we have seen – and the work we still have left to do – we are celebrating Women’s History Month this month by honoring trailblazers, disruptors, and innovators throughout history who had immense impact on our world as we know it.
