Quarterly gathering in Benton County
Dear friends,
We are looking forward to seeing you next Wednesday, March 11th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at our Benton County gathering. We are gathering at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Corvallis (2945 NW Circle Blvd., Corvallis, OR). For the latest information, we will be updating our Facebook event and calendar with the most recent information.
During our time together, we will:
- Build cross-congregational and cross-organizational relationships that matter and move us to advance immigrant justice beyond the election cycle.
- Defend and seek to expand the Chief Justice of Oregon's ruling that prohibits ICE activity at our courthouses through a public comment party.
- Learn about ONE Oregon communications research and practice messaging our values in an election year when we anticipate a rise in anti-immigrant messages, policies, and actions.
- Brainstorm actions people of faith can take between now and November that can be turned into a statewide resource
In a time where there is a lot of noise in the news, we look forward to taking a breath and rooting down into our deep spiritual wells alongside you. We are looking forward to seeing you and please invite other folks from your congregation who you think might be good thinking partners as we discuss together.
Thank you for your work and commitment!
