Tour the Hidden Footpaths of Kensington
Sunday, March 8 at 10 AM • FREE!
A guided tour through the hidden – but public – footpaths of Kensington. Established in the early 1900s, they provided access to the street cars that ran along Arlington Avenue. Still in use, they are enjoyed for their wooded hiking and spectacular views.
Some uphill trekking - hiking boots and poles may be useful on the less developed paths. Only a steady rain cancels this event - the walk takes place in anything less.
Meet at Raxakoul Coffee & Cheese, 299 Arlington Avenue, and visit paths above The Arlington before descending to Colusa Circle in time for lunch at the Farmers’ Market.
