AWTRS TRAVEL AWARDS 2020

The AWTRS has established a scheme to assist AWTRS members in presenting at an international wound and/or tissue repair meeting.

Nature of the Support
The AWTRS Committee will set the amount of funding each year depending on society finances so the total amount available may vary from year to year.  In 2020 we have $2000 available in total to be awarded in grants.  The two grants of $1000 will be awarded for attendance at an international conference.  Moneys can only be spent on travel to the conference, accommodation and registration.

  • The applicant must be a full-time postgraduate student currently enrolled at a recognised higher education provider or early-career researcher with less than 7 years post-doctoral experience (have an award of PhD Date together with an allowable career interruption(s) that would be commensurate with an Award of PhD Date on or after 9 March 2013)
  • The applicant and their supervisor must be financial members of the AWTRS at the time of application. To join or renew your AWTRS membership please go to http://www.awtrs.smalltalkevents.com.au
