A word from our Executive Director:
Hello Families!
This year is ‘leaping’ by, and SNP continues to be hopping! Registration is ongoing for fall preschool, Community kitchens are filling up, parenting programs are underway and our Royal Oak and Gordon Head/Shelbourne locations are busy as well. Spring break will also be a welcome break.
Watch for new programming this spring in the kitchen, as we look forward to offering more options for cooking classes with Tina (sporting her Red Seal Chef hat!) as well as another series of ‘Food Skills for Families’. We will be hosting a ‘ Ready Set Learn’ event later in the spring, a great opportunity to find information about school entry and related services for children heading to Kindergarten in the fall of 2020.
And, wait for announcements regarding our long-awaited Full-Time Childcare project, coming soon! Our lips are sealed for now, but word will get out soon…😉

Full o'Bean Preschool

We still have room in our afternoon program for September 2020: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 12:30-2:30pm. Children must be turning 3 years of age by December 31, 2020. The group sized is kept small, and is a great way to introduce your little one to a preschool environment!

Tips for Parenting an Anxious Child
Parent Information Session presented by Dr. Marei Perrin from Child & Youth Mental Health Services. We will learn about early childhood anxiety and discuss strategies for parents wanting to help their child to face their fears and expand their comfort zone.

Co-Parenting
Join us to discuss how you can work together with another person in the parenting role. For those who are not in a current relationship with the other co-parent.
- Thursday March 12, 11:30am-1:00pm
Parenting with a Partner FULL (waitlist available)
How do we parent together as partners? Join us for some tips on how to improve communication, build skills and parent together from shared values. For parents who are parenting together and are in a current relationship.
