Greetings from Interstate 75 just north of Atlanta!

We’re on our way to a show in Georgia, and in the morning we fly to Seattle for two in Washington State. I tell you that for two reasons. First, I’m super-distracted, so this email might seem a bit ramshackle; second, it’s a good picture of what this spring looks like: craziness.

I’ll get right to it:

1) The Wingfeather Saga COLLECTOR’S HARDBACK editions! Random House getting behind these for a relaunch is a thrilling development, and with your help a zillion more families may discover this saga and whatever light is in them. Many of you have been encouraging advocates for the Wingfeather adventure, so if you don’t mind spreading the word, please do! Oh—and if you preorder, you can get a free 5x7 print of Joe Sutphin’s delightful new map of Glipwood. Books one and two release on March 10, and books three and four release in September. Find all information here.

2) We’re heading to Britain and Ireland! It’s no secret that I love playing for my friends across the pond, and in mid-March we’ll be hitting it hard: ten shows in two weeks, from England, to Scotland, to Ireland, to Wales, and then back to England for a final concert in London. My friends Steph McLeod and Yvonne Lyon will be opening at some of the shows, too! Tickets are on sale now, so head over to the website and get them while you can.

3) The third annual Resurrection Letters tour! This tour has officially become my favorite musical thing. The band is young and wonderful, Skye Peterson and Taylor Leonhardt are opening, we sing about the death and resurrection of Jesus while spring takes over the country. I was a weepy mess every night of the tour last year. We start the week after the UK tour, so head over to the website and check the dates and tickets online!

4) Easter Monday at the Ryman! The day after Easter we’ll gather in Nashville to make a joyful noise, because the church’s celebration of the resurrection is just getting started. It’s filling up fast, but there are still a few seats left

5) The Rabbit Room, as usual, is stoking a lot of good fires. The Local Show is in its sixth year, and we’ve already had our first show of the spring season. North Wind Manor is getting closer and closer to completion. Hutchmoot Oxford tickets are almost gone. Hutchmoot US tickets are on sale very soon. We have a new pocket edition of Every Moment Holy releasing soon. Helena Sorensen’s new book, The Door on Half Bald Hill, is releasing soon. See all things Rabbit Room here.

6) My son Asher’s collaborative and epic project NAMO is so good I can hardly stand it. The first two singles, which Asher produced and Aedan and Skye co-wrote and sang on, are on Spotify and iTunes. I just love what my progeny is up to. Good and life-giving music. The full album releases soon. (Everything is soon!)

7) The new EP from Skye Peterson, just in time for the Resurrection Letters tour! Skye and Asher have been hard at work in the studio putting together a new collection of songs by one of the brightest hearts and biggest talents I know. More info to come.

Well, look. We’re almost to the show in Atlanta, so I have to go. Thanks, as always, for supporting me and mine. I look forward to seeing you all on the road, or on the streets of Glipwood, or at a Rabbit Room event.
