From Beginning to End,
March is springing forth with Fun and Food!
March is definitely a month of transition - from winter to spring, from Standard Time to Daylight Savings Time, from basketball to baseball seasons and more!
Our month is BUSY! We start once again participating in the Calvert County Restaurant Week. March 5 - 12. The Westlawn will be offering 2 outstanding and popular Entree Choices - our Seafood Gratinata and our Marinated and Grilled Flank Steak - in addition to our full menu. We are also planning SIX nights of music, including the John Luskey Band, and the Musician Protection Program. As you know we ALWAYS recommend reservations for all of our music nights, but these two groups reserve out very early. As of this writing, there were two 4-top tables and two 2-top tables available for Luskey this coming weekend, and for MPP on March 27th. Make your plans ASAP, and get in touch!
Our "Uncommon Occasion" for March is Maryland Day, and we are celebrating that with a Boordy Wine Diner, Wednesday, March 25th. Reservations are required for this event, and tables are going fast. Chef Fletcher is offering a four-course meal from local Maryland purveyors, paired with the appropriate Boordy Icons Wine. The cost is$65 per person plus tax and gratuity.
