Panel Series Updates

CITIZENS' ACADEMY Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for this 9-week series! It was excellent to hear everyone's stories, how local towns function, the differences between towns, and personal motivations for serving. Videos of these sessions which will be available soon on our YouTube account.

REACT UV ENTREPRENEUR STORIES REACT UV is a business accelerator program that gives entrepreneurs the tools they need to take their business from idea to launch. In addition to class speakers, we’ll bring in successful local business owners to share their experiences. The Entrepreneurs Stories Series is open to the public. Visit reactuv.com to learn more. By donation - with proceeds going towards providing REACT UV free to local entrepreneurs. We have our last session coming up on Monday, March 2nd 5:30-7pm featuring MVP, Cone Editions Studio/InkjetMall, and Stephens Precision.

Business Development & Support Programming

REACT UV PITCH NIGHT & GRADUATION We cannot believe it has been 9 weeks already! 11 students from our REACT UV Business Accelerator program (in partnership with Launch UV REACT) will be graduating this Wednesday night, 3/4 at 6:00pm. Come celebrate these entrepreneurs with us! Thank you shoutout to our sponsors: LaunchVT, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank, Community Bank NA, Vital Communities, Claremont Savings Bank, Gallagher Flynn, Colby Insurance Group, Copeland Furniture, Grossman & Ripps, Howard Myers Law, Attlas Virtual Assistant, Colatina Exit, and Wells River Savings Bank.

CWE BUSINESS PLANNING COURSE Just as we are wrapping up one business planning course, we have started another. The Center for Women & Enterprise has 15 entrepreneurs enrolled in a 10 week business planning course. This is a hybrid course which creates a larger cohort with additional students from Black River Innovation Campus in Springfield and Do North Coworking in Lyndonville. Students meet in person at their respective coworking space locations and then video conference with other spaces and a CWE instructor. We're very excited to see this class progress!
