Welcome to Issue 3 of DH News: The Dreaming Heron

Greetings from Old Quebec, where winter is alive and well and piled up on the sides of the streets like giant puffy clouds.

This month I've been quite excited to be reading Doug Tallamy's book, Nature's Best Hope, which is a crash course in biodiversity and ecology, and full of things we can do to help insects and birds, so I'll be mining things from it for next month's issue.

In the meantime I have thoughts about rhinos, trees and the silence of the forest, and my orchid, which, after eight months, is possibly blooming as we speak back in my Boston living room, as well as other goodies.  Thanks for reading. You can download The Dreaming Heron at the link below – grab a cup of coffee or tea – it’s meant to be read slowly. And feel free to share it.

Many thanks,
Daniel
