EARL BAILLY DISPLAY UNVEILED
Following the February 23rd AGM, the new Earl Bailly Display in the gallery was unveiled by Jennifer Harrison, who designed and built the unit.
Damara Mossman, our Earl Bailly Curator, selected four Bailly paintings for the unveiling. The artworks in the display will change periodically through the season.
The cabinet also houses a video player, the top of which is just visible in the bottom of the photo, showing more Bailly art and artifacts. The screen is not visible until the viewer approaches the display, so it won't distract from other art exhibited in the gallery.
We thank the Town of Lunenburg for the recent grant towards this project, and Castle Building Supplies in Blockhouse for their sponsorship of materials.
The Lunenburg Art Society owns many Earl Bailly works of art, and co-owns more with the Town,. We are proud to feature them in this professional display.
