WAITANGI DAY
The Secretary of the Wellington Branch, Captain Ken Watt, represented the Company at the Garden Party hosted by the NZCMM Patron, Her Excellency The Right Honourable Dame Patsy Reddy, GNZM, QSO, Governor-General of New Zealand and Sir David Gascoigne, KNZM, CBE to mark the 180th Anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. Ken reports that the event went well with Wellington putting on a great day weather-wise. His daughter, Anna, accompanied him.

EVENTS
9 March 2020. The Principal of Ōtaki College advises that the College will again be holding a commemorative wreath laying ceremony to mark the sinking of SS Otaki in 1917. This event will be held at College commencing at midday.
