Coronavirus Preparedness
The Allegheny County Department of Health (ACDH) has released important information on COVID-19 (novel coronavirus). Residents of Allegheny County need to be prepared for potential community spread of COVID-19. Although COVID-19 is a different virus than influenza, similar prevention strategies can be effective. Individuals should continue to help stop the spread of viruses, like the flu, by washing hands. We have published the information briefing in it's entirety on the APOST Blog, and encourage all providers to share this important information widely with families and staff. You can keep up with the latest updates in the list of additional resources on this special blog post.
