Dear Meyer Prep Community:

The health and safety of our students and Meyer Prep families is always our primary concern. Meyer Prep has determined that moving to an online instruction format at this time is the best decision for our school community. This difficult decision was reached as an attempt to do what we can to slow the spread of this serious virus and protect the members of our Meyer Prep family.

As a school, we recognize this is a difficult and extraordinary situation for all of us. Please be reassured that the Meyer Prep faculty has been preparing for this scenario. Teachers have planned assignments and are ready to distribute via online technology during our campus closure.

As a school community, we are committed to your children's education. Therefore, school will continue whether students are in or out of the classroom. Teachers have been instructed to contact their students and parents via email with the details pertaining to assignments, expectations, dates of completion, and how assignments are to be submitted for credit/completion during this closure period. We are asking all parents to check emails daily from their children's teachers.

Starting Monday, March 16, all Meyer Prep School Athletics, practices and games, are suspended until further notice. If you have any questions regarding athletics, please contact Wayne Stofsky, Director of Athletics, at wstofsky@meyerprep.org.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this challenging situation.

I urge everyone in our community to take all the steps necessary for self-care during this unprecedented time.

Shabbat Shalom,

Ms. Beth G. Spier, M.Ed.
Meyer Preparatory School Principal
