Carlos del Junco & the Blues Mongrels: Wed Mar 11

The Mayne Island Music Society is very pleased to bring Carlos del Junco and his band back to the Ag Hall for another great performance -- on Wednesday, March 11.

Doors open at 7 pm, performance starts at 7:30. Tickets are $25, available at Farm Gate Store, Happy Tides, and Home Hardware. During the intermission tea, coffee, water, and juice will be available. 

You don't want to miss this amazing performer and the very talented Blues Mongrels. "One listen ... and it's obvious he's in a class with such greats as Toots Thielemans, Paul Butterfield, Howard Levy..." -- Peter North The Edmonton Journal. Diabetes Assessment Clinic: Wed Mar 11

This clinic will take place in the lower room of the Health Centre from 1.30pm. - 3.00pm. on Wednesday ,March 11th. 2020. It is sponsored by the Lions Club in conjunction with the Mayne Island Health Centre Association and the Mayne Island Clinic. In this, the 100th year of Lionism, Lions Clubs International have five areas that they wish to concentrate on and diabetes is one of them. The others are poverty, environment, childhood cancer and youth. Mayne Island Lions invite you to to come and take advantage of this important opportunity.

Please join us for our 3rd Community Dinner at Church House. This month we go green and celebrate St Patrick's Day! All are welcome - we'll be enjoying: Beef and Vegetarian Irish Stew; Calcannon; Irish Soda Bread; Lime Mousse and Shamrock Cookies.
