PHNRC Spring Ahead Volunteer Workday 3/8/2020
When: Sunday, March 8th, 2019. 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Daylight Savings Time!
Where: The Nature Preserve at the Morava Center(See map below)
What: Site evaluation, spring cleanup, invasive removal, trail relining & burn
preparation.
Can you believe that Daylight Savings Time is Sunday? What happened to winter?? This Sunday we are offically kicking off the spring work season with a spring cleanup, some brilliant weather and one less hour of sleep. The temperature is forecast to be a very pleasant 63° and partly cloudy so there is absolutely no reason not to come out and join in the fun. Showing up an hour late, well, maybe.
We will be at the Nature Preserve doing a general site cleanup, chasing buckthorn re-sprouts, relining the nature trail and getting ready for a possible prescribed burn. Parking is at the tennis courts.
