Please remember to send your kids with sneakers on PE days. We have had multiple injuries this week in PE with students not having sneakers for PE and wearing no shoes or snow boots.
Hartland Food Shelf at the UU Church in 4 Corners hours are every Friday from 8am-10am. The Food Shelf is well stocked is you feel the need to grab an extra few items. They are still taking donations of food and money at any time.

You won't want to miss The Sharon Academy's 8th Annual Free Family Arts Day on Sunday, March 8, 12-4pm, at TSA High School, Rte 14, Sharon, VT.
All ages will enjoy talented local artists who will be leading interactive workshops. Examples include stilt walking, bath fizzie making, face painting, and more! Greetings! Please join us for Hartford High School's 8th grade Families Night scheduled for Thursday, March 26 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Please spread the word about this dynamic event that will allow families of incoming ninth graders to interact with current students, learn about exciting new initiatives taking place across all areas of our curriculum, and meet the Hartford High School department leaders.

The Hartland School Board and Administration are looking for volunteers to serve on a Facilities Committee. In addition to the Principal, Assistant Principal, Facilities Manager, and a member of the Hartland School Board, the Facilities Committee will be made up of two staff members and two community members. Our goal will be to create a 3-5 year building/facilities plan. If you have an interest in serving on this committee, please send a brief email describing the skills and expertise that you will bring to the committee. Emails should be directed to christine.bourne@wsesu.net by March 20th.
We anticipate that this committee will meet monthly for a period of three to four months.

TDI Summer Camp 2020!
Parents and teachers--do you have an advanced, gifted, or creative child, entering grades 4-9, who would love to have fun with intellectual peers this summer, while exploring a wide variety of topics? Consider sending them to the Talent Development Institute (TDI Summer Camp) 2020!A sample of our classes includes:Computer Game Design, The World Outside, Fabric Arts, Writing and Laughing, Rube Goldberg Machines, Almost History, Gravity-Powered Catapults, Digital Design, The Game of Civilization, Gathering Magic, and Powerful Podcasts! TDI Summer Camp takes place on the beautiful campus of Northern Vermont University, Johnson, Vermont. Students may come for one or two weeks, June 21-27 and/or June 28-July 4, 2020. Box Tops for Hartland Elementary School
Our Winter Box Top collection competition begins on Jan. 13th and will run through Feb. 7th. K-5 classes will complete for an ice cream party and middle school advisories will compete for a pizza party. Students should bring box tops to classroom teachers or advisors.
