THREE PLACES IN THE 149TH OPEN ON OFFER AT THE ARNOLD PALMER INVITATIONAL PRESENTED BY MASTERCARD
 
3 March 2020, Bay Hill, Orlando, USA: The leading three players who finish in the top 10 and ties at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard who are not already exempt will earn places in The 149th Open at Royal St George’s from 12-19 July 2020.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard is the fourth event in The Open Qualifying Series and will be played from 5-8 March at Bay Hill.

In the event of a tie for a qualifying place, the player with the higher ranking in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) at the beginning of the week commencing 2 March will be awarded a place in The 149th Open.

The Open

The 149th Open will be played at Royal St George’s from 12-19 July 2020.

The Open is golf’s original championship. Played since 1860 on iconic links golf courses, it is the sport’s most international Major Championship with qualifying events on every continent.
