Springtime Mindfulness
By: Martha Cerda, Naturalist
Dear Alviso Adobe friends,
It is almost Spring! No better time to put on your hiking boots and connect with nature on your own, with a friend, or family. With spring rapidly approaching, our favorite local trees such as elderberry, sycamore, and valley oaks are waking up and with them bringing color, shade, and wildlife into our backyards. I've been an avid wanderer of nature since I can remember. Always inquisitive and in search of all nature related answers. For some, nature helps clear their mind, for others like me nature serves as an inspiration and an outlet for creativity. This spring spend some time in nature, appreciating and learning something new about our local animals and plants. Pick a trail, choose a spot, and enjoy the wonders of spring.
