SpaceUp Update | March 2020

We regret to inform you that our Space Academy Rome will not be taking place on the 25th -26th March 2020. Due to National Decree number DPCM 4.3.2020 in Italy which states that due to the spreading of Coronavirus, all public events and gatherings are to be cancelled, which therefore includes the Primavera dell’Innovazione and our Space Academy Rome held in parallel.

We are working on alternative dates for this Space Academy and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. We will keep you informed with any updates on how we will move forward. We hope you understand that it is in the best interest of our attendees, employees and staff to prioritise their safety and wellbeing.

Meanwhile, don't forget that our call for applications for the Space Academy Cork, taking place 10th-12th June 2020, is open until the 15th March. You can submit your application at http://bit.ly/SAcApply.

SpaceUp is a project financed by the EU Framework programme for Research and Innovation (Horizon 2020). The overall objective of SpaceUp is to contribute at a European level to the safeguarding and further development of a competitive and entrepeneurial space industry.

Throughout the project lifetime 6 Space Academies will take place in various locations in Europe, networking new space tech entrepreneurs with potential partners in Finance, Business, Space Clusters and Science Parks, plunging Start-ups into a genuinely European Space ecosystem.
