Quarterly News Spring

Spring is Coming

As I think and pray about the events happening in Wet'suwet'en territory and the resulting protests happening around the country I'm reminded of Senator Murray Sinclair's words.   “... it is in our daily conversations and interactions that our success as a nation in forging a better place, will ultimately be measured. It is what we say to and about each other in public and in private that we need to look at changing.”  I ask and challenge people to see the humanity in these events.  Go beyond mainstream news outlets and try to find indigenous sources such as Aboriginal Peoples Television Network.  Deep problems require deep and nuanced discussions and answers.  Please pray with us and reflect on ways to bring about peace.
