After 10 great, book-filled days, Read-a-thon 2020 has come to a close.
If your child has not turned in their minutes, please send them to school TODAY (with their name and classroom clearly marked), and turn them into the office. No packets will be accepted after Tuesday morning. You can also submit by emailing pictures of them to readathon@harveymilk.com.
It's time to collect your pledges, if you haven't already. The easiest way to submit them is to direct your friends and family to harveymilksf.com/readathon. You have until Spring Break to get pledges in.

A reminder that next week, the week of March 9th, school ends at 2:35pm each day in order for teachers to have more time for parent teacher conferences. Keep an eye out for a sign-up sheet to come home from your teacher.

Kids Night Out
YMCA will be providing childcare for Kids Night Out on 3/7 from 6pm-12am. At this event kids will enjoy an evening of Mad Scientist’s Activities: Make slime and electricity, eat pizza and popcorn, and enjoy the movie National Treasure.

Summer Camps
Summer camp is just around the corner! Start planning now to secure your camper's spot in camps such as Aqua Adventures and Minecraft. Online and in-person is Currently Open!
We will be holding a Registration Session for Summer camp at Harvey Milk on March 10th From 4:00-6:30pm and will be recurring every second Tuesday of each month!
- If parents would like to register for summer camp at Mission YMCA Branch (4080 Mission st. SF), those dates will be:
- 3/17: 6:30 PM-8:00
- 3/24: 6:30 PM-8:00
- 3/31: 6:00 PM-8:00

While this is still a developing situation, SFUSD are working with the City to prepare in the event that our schools are impacted due to COVID-19 and will contact families immediately if things change. In the mean time, you should have received an email from them last week with a reminder about good hygiene, how to help prevent cold and flu, and keeping kids home if they are sick.
