On Friday 6th of March you have the chance to take part in a global campaign aiming to capture the diverse face of women in law (and their male allies) across the world. All it will take is 5 minutes of your time - and you’ll get a couple of free head shots out of it!
We are inviting all women who work in law, not just lawyers, and their male allies to take part in the #FaceTheFuture campaign. This is an international photography day with pop-ups around the world.
It is being run by Next 100 Years, the UK’s national campaign aiming to share the achievements of women in law and shape a more equal and diverse future for the profession.
At our pop-up, you will be able to drop by, no registration needed, and have your photo taken by a professional photographer. As well as being sent to you, the portraits taken will be used by Next 100 Years to create a digital gallery and physical exhibition showing just how diverse our profession is.
We hope that you will take part and help us show that our global profession is united in diversity.
Cardiff & District Law Society is incredibly proud to collaborate with Next 100 Years on this project and contribute to the digital museum on behalf of Cardiff and South Wales. You can view the images of Cardiff lawyers taken during the 2019 'First 100 Years' event, here.
ATTENDEE NOTE: Your headshot will be taken against a jet black background. Please be aware that you might wish to wear coloured clothing - although some individuals did wear wigs and gowns in 2019!
