“I love making new things out of old things, and reinspiring old articles into useful, affordable art. I have always loved reclaiming, upcycling and recycling.  I’ve reupholstered and refinished fabrics and leather with paint (shoes, boots, bags, belts and chairs) and I make mittens out of recycled wool sweaters and fleece to donate to those in shelters.

Saturday, March 7th, 1-3pm

Participants will leave with a small finished piece, or a good start on something, along with ideas of materials to buy and use at home. Paints, two brushes and fabric medium will be provided. The brushes will be yours to take home. Wear clothes you can get paint on.
