Our Assembly 8’s next meeting unfortunately must be cxled. President Joshua Weidner has determined its to late to find a secondary location on short notice.... but the facility is not being made available this Thursday, These things happen so no meeting this week.. that being said our next meeting March 12th will be covering Ambitious Card routines and Triumphs and always welcome performance by all members. So enjoy this week off but come back having been practicing your piece to perform or share your favorite triumph and Ambitious card routine!
I also can tell you registrations are quickly coming in for the Senior Summit Tour on June 26 & June 27th, the Close up convention being put on by Steve Zuehlke if you want to.... now is the time to register at seniortour2020@gmail.com

Twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month, they have created a group called Magic in the Lou!!!! They are inviting guests to perform and they do close up magic at the Bar before the show and if you have time you can check them out! Check out their pictures below!
Finally we need to support our own especially if supporting them makes us better. A gentleman and dear friend Mr. Shep Hyken has 6 books out.. I can say I am lucky to have read them and in some cases gone to the signings and I have watched him speak around the country, nobody, has the kindness, Knowledge and ability to help so many as Shep. Yet I dare say.... few if any has his books. At least sign up for his newsletter, it’s 100% free takes no more than two minutes to read, he never asks you for anything.. and yet will teach you much and give you much to think about!!

We are all busy but in this day and age it’s time to remember to listen, think about others a And learn about perception, others in ourselves and understanding others situations..... please take time to learn something regularly and an easy Gem is two minutes from Shep... his information comes out approximately weekly and it will do you well to take the action to learn from an expert you know!!!!!

BTW Gene Anderson and I have become friends over the years and often get together at MagiFest.... He just wrote me a note that said on April 4th(Saturday) in Sedalia he and Stephen Bargatze and Todd Charles are doing a show at 2:00 & 7:00.... A small distance to see good magic!!!!
