The Ladies B team won their league, the Muter A and Flag A teams are both at the top of their leagues and we have nine players through to the Last 16 of the WP Singles competitions! It has been a great few weeks for Mowbray!

Muter B - Division 3 Winners

As everyone should know by now - the Ladies Muter B Side won Division 3 and will be playing in the 2nd Division next year!

Congratulations to everyone who played in that team this season - and the selectors!

Get down to Mowbray this Saturday night for a celebration!

We are celebrating:

1. The final Muter game of the season!
2. Birthdays!
3. The extra day in the Leap Year
4. The Muter B team winning the third division.

There will be Live Music, prego roll and chicken burgers for sale, and cheap drinks.

Spread the word to your family, friends and other clubs and come and party!

We have had a lot of donations and work organised by our club members in the past week or two and need to say THANK YOU!

The only way any club can grow and thrive is with time and effort from its members - and ours are really magnificent.

If anyone has been left out please complain to Mark directly - it is his mistake!!!!

Jonesy took it upon himself to source and organise the installation of new carpets - and it looks magnificent!

Mike Blacker built three new flipboards for us. and GML sourced and paid for the new numbers to go onto them. We now have enough for a full green!

Jonesy and Bundy co-operated to supply a privacy screen for the Ladies changeroom!

Carlo organised and installed a sprinkler system to give our new banks the best chance of growing properly!

Midweek

Today is the last week of the round robin stages of the midweek competition with Mark's team playing at WPCC, Tom's team at Milnerton and Mike B's team at Durbanville.

Muter and Flag

Another fantastic week from the Mowbray teams with 4 wins from 5.

Our Muter A side has a 0.5 point lead at the top of the log and the battle comes down to the last game at home this Saturday. A good win can see them top the group and be promoted to the Premier Division for next year!

If you're not playing on Saturday, get up to Mowbray and support the Ladies! It would be amazing for them to get into Premier next year.

This Sunday is Director's Day at Jaggers - a unique event which brings sighted and blind bowlers together for the day.

If you are not out supporting our Singles Superstars on Sunday, pop in at Jaggers for a drink and to offer your support.

And if you are watching the Singles - then pop in to Jaggers afterwards and let everyone know how the singles went!
