Partner Spotlights

The GHP is actively working to respond to the coronavirus outbreak and amplify the work of our partners. Below we highlight some of our partners’ efforts.

P&G

Our partners at P&G through their Safeguard brand, have partnered with JingDong and Tmall, 2 of China’s leading e-Commerce platforms, to promote handwashing education to the general population. The partners conducted a 1 hour livestream session, where Safeguard scientists shared preventative measures such as handwashing. The livestream provided an outlet for the general population to learn about proper handwashing techniques and the importance of handwashing habits to maintain good health during this high-risk time.

UNICEF

With the rising spread of the Novel Coronavirus, UNICEF is on the ground working to protect affected children and families. UNICEF is working closely with Government authorities and the WHO to prevent the spread of Coronavirus by supplying vital personal protection equpitment (such as gloves and masks) and launching handwashing campaigns across the East Asia and Pacific region to improve preventative practices among children and the general public. UNICEF is providing hygiene materials for thousands of schools and other public places as part of their support for health education messaging.
