"…And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent?..."
Romans 10:14b-15a

FEBRUARY 2020

Dear <<First Name>>,

Before we update you with the ministry, we want to say thank you from our hearts for your prayers and support! Words cannot express how much we appreciate your partnership in our lives in responding to God’s call.
Though there were many challenges that the church in Geneva faced during our time serving in Europe, God used those trials to purge His church and preserve the remnant of His faithful ones. The false teachers and those who were causing divisions left, while those who persevered and remained steadfast continue to love Jesus and treasure His word. The church in Geneva is doing well as biblically qualified elders are in place and our GMI leader John Glass is looking for a full-time national pastor to replace himself so the church can be autonomous.
The known remnant of faithful believers in Western Europe is less than 1%. France is a country with limited biblical resources in the French language and very few faithful churches. During my 2 terms (8 years) of living and serving in different cities in France, there is still an earnest request that I have often heard from scattered believers all over the country: “Please start a church in our city because there is nowhere to go in order to worship Christ and hear His word faithfully preached.”
As we have prayed for God’s leading in transitioning from church strengthening in Geneva to church planting in France, the LORD has provided clear direction. I’ve written before about Manuel, a believer who I am mentoring in the EBTC program. EBTC is the European Bible Training Center that is based in Germany and provides modular and online courses in English and German. Manuel has prayed and asked us to join him in planting a church in Cannes, France since there is nowhere for him and his family to go. He has started a small family gathering where he occasionally preaches or broadcasts our online messages from our French speaking church in Geneva, Switzerland.
As we plan to join him and his family in Cannes, I also desire to be part of starting a training center for national leaders and pastors from French-speaking nations. Training national leaders and pastors is imperative in order to maintain doctrinal purity by accurately proclaiming and defending the word of God. In a country with limited resources, numerous cults, false religions, atheistic beliefs and hedonistic practices, only Christ and His word can strengthen the remnant and save those who are lost.
Please be in prayer as we are still unable to return until our full support is raised. We need about a total of $1800 in monthly support in order to return to France and any onetime gifts in order to keep our missions account out of debt. Please pray that God will provide the remainder of our monthly support so we can return to those in great need of Christ. If you would like to join our support team, please follow the directions below.

Much love from us to you,
James, Julia, Elijah, William and Wesley
