“Super Tuesday” March 3 is Virginia’s opportunity to participate in selecting the 2020 Democratic candidate for President. Because Virginia is an open primary state, any registered voter can cast a ballot. In addition to Virginia, 13 states from Maine to CA will go to the polls delivering a total of 1,357 delegates. More than a third of all delegates needed are up for grabs on
March 3.
Super Tuesday is big, but it’s relatively early in the primary process with more Democratic primaries and caucuses happening all the way until June. Three states have spoken thus far, (Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada) and one candidate leads with most delegates, yet the nomination lacks clarity.
March 3 is Virginia’s chance to make our voices heard. Polls are open 6:00 am until 7:00 pm. Click here to
