Sumner Bays Union Trust
Hi everyone,
This year has started off well. We had some extra people come along to Coffee & Conversation to hear about Volunteering Canterbury on February 14. It was great to see them.

TOMORROW: Our next speaker is Averil Stevenson from Ecocentral. Ecocentral runs the Ecosort Recycling plant, which is where our recycling gets to taken to from our yellow wheelie bins. Come along and find out more at 10.30am at the Redcliffs Uniting Church on Augusta Street.
We continue to put together a calendar of guests for Coffee & Conversation. If you have something fascinating to talk about, let me know.
Upcoming guests:
Friday 28 February:         Averil Stevenson, Ecocentral
Friday 17 April:                 Hon. Ruth Dyson, MP
Friday 15 May:                  Deborah Rhode: Mongolian history and culture.

Loopy Tunes
Our preschool music sessions began again on Tuesday 11 February. We’re still looking for a volunteer to assist with the Sumner session, particularly the morning tea and clean up afterwards.

Redcliffs, 10.30am, Redcliffs Uniting Church hall, 4 Augusta Street.
Each session costs $2 per child and is followed by morning tea and a playtime.

Happy Hour
Our second Happy Hour of the year will be held on Friday 6 March from 4-6pm at the Redcliffs Uniting Church hall. At 4 Augusta Street. It’s a BBQ again. Refreshments are provided. The last three sessions have been great fun.
