Motors for Music is on March 7th!

We would like to thank you all for your generosity in the form of time and donations. We appreciate every bit of your support over this amazing fall season! Due to your support through volunteer hours, spreading the word, coming ready to buy food and so much more, our fundraiser goal has been met! Unfortunately we are running around $7k lower in family donations than in past years, which may require us to make some changes in how the boosters support students in the spring. We understand every year is different and we do our best to keep the fundraising efforts going to keep the high quality coaching and support throughout the year!

As you know, this amazing program of ours comes at a cost, between $500-$800 per student! We will continue to work hard on fundraising events. Past events included Jazz in Havana, the Mattress Sale, Dinner Evenings, and more. Motors for Music is our next big fundraising event and will occur on Saturday, March 7th. We ask that you also work with us to reach our funding goal!

We are asking that every family consider a way to help in our effort to have every student sponsored. Either by family donation through our Sponsor-A-Student page (www.sanmarcosbands.org/sas/ ) or by reaching out to local businesses and asking for their support, here is a letter you can use, click HERE.

The 5th Annual Motors for Music Community Car Show is just around the corner! There will be amazing cars, great food, and live music from many of our phenomenal ensembles. Come on out to experience a great event or better yet, sign up and volunteer to support another amazing fundraising opportunity. The show is Saturday, March 7th in the Student Lot and gates open at 7:00 AM.
