NEW_CODEX. Catalogue of medieval manuscripts preserved in Tuscany
3943 manuscripts published

In compliance with the role of preservation inherent to the project CODEX, the descriptions of the twenty-one choral manuscripts (antiphonaries and graduals) stolen from Monteoliveto Maggiore in 1975, all belonging to the Olivetan house of Monte Morcino (Perugia), have been elaborated. All the information previous to the theft has been recovered, and provided with a link to the images of the retrieved fragments - digitalised ex novo in Monteoliveto.
