Make the most of Mother's Day this month

Mother’s Day is one of the biggest events in the retail calendar. It’s reported that over 60% of UK adults make purchases for the event, with an average spend of over £30. This leads to an increase in demand for personalised gifting and photo products!

To help you capitalise on this, promotional packs are currently being posted out to all stores, These provide the items you need to run the 'Win a Spa Break' promotion in your store. Make sure you start running the promotion as soon as possible and benefit from the busy trading period leading up to Mother's Day.

All customers have to do to enter is make a purchase of photo prints or a photo gift in your store and complete a prize draw entry form. Full details of where you send your customer entries are explained on the briefing sheet in your pack
The packs include A3 posters, prize draw entry forms, entries return sheet and envelope and the prize draw terms and conditions sheet.

Valentine's Prize Draw Winners

Thank you to all the stores who took part and sent in their entry forms from the Valentine's Day promotion.

We hope the promotion was successful in your store and you were able to convert potential customers into actual sales with the help of offering the chance to win these great prizes.

We have collated all of the entries and made the draw to randomly select the winners.

5 lucky entrants have been drawn as winners who will each receive one of the Cinema Night prizes. These winners entered in the following stores:-

Celebrations in Haddington

 

Use APEX or Kiosk receipts to promote offers or advertise your website

Give your customers a reason to come back every time they visit - whether you encourage them back in-store, or to visit your website to order online.
The receipts that are printed from both the Kodak APEX and Kodak kiosks have the facility for you to add a bespoke message to your customers, and it's easier than you may think.

As you can see from the examples shown below, you can promote a variety of things such as special offers, new products, or key date events. You can also promote your website - and if you have a Kodak Express website you can use offer codes that your customers can use online.

You can change the message regularly to keep them fresh and relevant.

The APEX will accept graphic files, including QR codes whilst the kiosk allows you to enter a typed message.

Building relationships in the local community to help build sales

Building relationships with local businesses, clubs and groups is a great way to build your profile and widen exposure to your products and services.

Target them directly rather than waiting for them to come to you.

You can offer bespoke discounts as well as creating specific products which are attractive to the target market within these areas. Show them a product which appeals to them on a personal level.

Gift Guide booklets helping stores to inspire customers

Have you used all of your booklets – and would you like more?
We received really good feedback on Gift Guide Booklets that we sent to all stores towards the end of last year , with stores reporting that they were well received by customers and proved to be really useful to use when discussing products in-store with a customer and 'up selling' them to addition or higher priced products.
