Ad hoc training for Early Career researchers added to the offer of the 7th EMES Training School
As usual, EMES training schools are aimed at PhD candidates who conduct research in the wide “SE fields” and wish to strengthen their theoretical and methodological background. SE fields refer to social enterprise, social entrepreneurship, social economy and solidarity economy as well as social innovation.
We are excited about a new feature for this year's edition, namely, a specific "ECI stream" for early career researchers that will be based on three pillars: publication strategy, research proposal preparation and well-being.
Under the title "Researching the collaborative dimension of social enterprise for sustainable regional and rural development", Empower-SE COST ActionEMES and Cork University Business School (CUBS), University College Cork (UCC) jointly organize this 7th edition of the EMES Summer School from 29th June to 2nd July 2020 in Cork, Ireland.
Read the call for applications here and remember that applications are accepted until today (28th February 2020).
Social enterprise mapping comparative synthesis report covering 35 countries now published
After two years of intensive, complex and passionate work involving over 70 national researchers and 750 stakeholders, the comparative Synthesis Report of the update of the European social enterprise mapping was launched at the end of January.
Thanks to the colleagues working in our institutional member Euricse and all the researchers, many of them EMES members, for contributing to this collective achievement. Our gratitude as well to the devoted team within the European Commission DG EMPL for their commitment to this mapping.
They confirmed that the report was dowloaded 1,064 times during the first week after its publication! Without any doubt, an encouraging figure to continue working to increase the knowledge around social enterprise and all the related notions.
Looking forward to discussing and exchanging on this important piece of the social enterprise landscape in Europe!
