Earth Day cleanup: Saturday, April 18, 8am-noon, The Mustard Seed will be one of many sites across the city where people will be meeting for the annual Worcester Earth Day cleanups, spending the morning cleaning up our streets. We have plenty of gloves and trash bags, but if you have a trash grabber please bring it along. (Facebook link)
We'll be holding an open discussion Monday, March 24, at 7pm about the conversions of Dorothy Day, Thomas Merton, and ourselves.
Clinic Grand Opening: The new health clinic in the basement has been up and running a month now—thanks to everyone who made it possible. The Family Health Center will be holding an official grand opening and ribbon-cutting event Friday, March 13, from 3-4pm. If you'd like to get involved with the clinic, you can contact Family Health: Noreen.Smith@fhcw.org.
Mustard Seed 25: Anyone who's been involved with the Mustard Seed a long time may want to look at the PDF of the 1997 booklet celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Seed. (Above is part of the not-quite-definitive list of meal groups.)
Mass Times: Holy Mass will be celebrated in the chapel upstairs at the Mustard Seed 7pm Fridays March 6 (with Fr. Enoch Kyeremateng) and March 20 (with Fr. John Madden). Please join us as the spirit moves.
Mondays and Fridays we pray the night prayer (compline) together at 6:45pm, right after cleaning up for the night. All are invited to join us.
