Wednesday, 4 March 2019 - Week 6, Term 1

From the Principal...

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Welcome to the first edition of the St Leo’s Pride for 2020.
As we are now in Week 6 of an 11 week Term, the College is in full flight. There have been a variety of learning activities, many opportunities on offer and the new members of our community, particular our students and staff have been recognised and welcomed.
Procedures and routines have been established, our students and staff and enjoying the new campus in many ways and a strong supportive community spirit is alive and present.
Two of the many highlights so far have been two College Masses - our Opening College Mass and the Ash Wednesday Mass, presided over by our newly installed Bishop, Bishop Anthony Randazzo. A reoccurring theme in these two Masses has been - that we as a Catholic community - we are a people of hope.
After witnessing the many events and daily interactions between members of our community, the College is certainly striving to be a community full of hope and positivity, particularly given the recent national and international events.
Please take some time to read about the happenings here in your College.
Thank you for your trust in the College.
Mr Anthony Gleeson, Principal
