After extensive community input, we're pleased to release our two primary budget advocacy asks for FY21. It's important to note that we are one group of many, and we encourage you to visit our friends at DC Action for Children, DC Fiscal Policy Institute, Children's Law Center and PAVE DC (among others!) to learn more about what they're fighting for in the year to come.

Actionable Data: Youth Homelessness

2019 DC Youth Count Data Released
|
|
Over 9 days each year, DC works diligently to engage, count and query youth experiencing homelessness. This information is instrumental to system redesign, policy, practice and funding solutions to ensure no young person experiences homelessness in the District.
The ICH has recently released the data findings from our 2019 Count. Learn more about the background, methodology, but most important the findings from this important data collection effort below. Also, keep an eye out, DHS and the Community Partnership For The Prevention of Homelessness will be releasing the raw data sets later this spring. This is a tremendously valuable tool for advocates and partners. So, more to come!
