NDLS Communicator
Week of 3.16.20

Good afternoon. This was definitely not the way we all planned to return from Spring Break. We are thankful for each of you as we navigate these challenging, unknown times. We are sharing Coronavirus updates and resources below, along with the latest Law School news. We will continue to publish the Communicator on a regular schedule to communicate important updates and to help everyone stay in touch. Stay well everyone!

Coronavirus Updates

Law School Coronavirus Resources

We have updated the Faculty and Staff portion of the Law School website to include updates specific to Law School operations. You will need to use your ND NetID and password to access this section. We will add more links and useful resources in the days ahead.

Online Suggestion Box: We have established a Google Form here for you to provide any thoughts that are specific to Law School operations. The form allows you to provide your name if you would like someone to follow up directly, but the questions you pose will otherwise be anonymous.

Law School Access

Exterior Door Lock Schedule
The Law School buildings will maintain the same door lock schedule as normal. Exterior doors will be unlocked from 6:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Exterior doors will be locked on evenings and weekends, as normal, and require card access.

The University has updated our card access, per University standard policy, to require a 4-digit code after swiping your Irish1Card.  The default code is the two digit month and two digit day of your birth date (ie. Jan 1 = 0101).  You can view and update your Irish1Card 4-digit code by going to this link: https://irish1card.nd.edu/pin/   Note:  you must be logged into the VPN or be on the campus network for the link to work properly.

Eck Interior Suite Lock Schedule
Starting Monday, March 16 interior suite doors will be locked during the work day and require card access. Signs will be placed on suite doors directing you who to contact for access.

Social Distancing

Please continue to practice social distancing. Sound practices include no meetings with more than 7 people, the room should be no more than 1/3 filled, keep 6 feet between you and other people, and use phone or email instead of holding in person meetings if possible.
