Coronavirus Update
Who Gives a SCRAP has been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation and we will move forward with caution regarding holding any classes or events. The safety and well-being of our patrons, staff and community are our top priority. Most of our classes and events are held in small groups and in small numbers but we will notify those that have signed up whether or not they will be held. We will continue our conversations with our community partners and will decide on the cancellation of classes or events as they approach since this is a rapidly evolving situation and may change from day to day. We want to do our best to slow the spread of the virus. We will post any updates to our social media sites in the upcoming weeks.
As of right now, our retail store will continue to operate under normal hours. To eliminate the spread of germs our staff wipes down common surfaces such as handrails, doors, doorknobs and light switches and other “High Touch” areas throughout the day with disinfectant and a bleach solution. Our Staff are required to consistently wash their hands with anti-bacterial soap and to use a high-percentage alcohol sanitizer. Our visitors are welcomed and encouraged to notify staff if an area needs attention. As always if you feel that you are sick, we encourage you to stay home in order to protect our community.
