Dear People of Grace,
We will have two services on The Third Sunday in Lent, March 15. Our 8 a.m. service will be a Holy Eucharist Rite I (through Lent), and at 10:30 a.m. we'll have a Holy Eucharist Rite II with adult choir.
 GRACE WILL BE LIVE ON YouTube THIS SUNDAY: With the current state of affairs regarding the coronavirus, Grace Church has set up our technology so that our worship services will be streamed live on our YouTube page. If you choose to stay home and want to participate, here is what you need to do: 1) Go to youtube.com; 2) type in “Grace Church Asheville”; 3) select the round icon with the picture of Grace Church; 4) select “Videos”; 5) When we are live a picture of the Nave will appear with a red box with the word “live” under it; 6) click the image and (if technology works) you will see the worship service. You can also try this link which will hopefully get you there a little quicker: Grace YouTube Channel. We will be streaming the 10:30 service. Blessings and stay safe!

 THE BISHOP IS COMING: Our Bishop The Rt. Rev. José McLoughlin will be with Grace on Mar 22nd at both services. At the 10:30, Bishop. José will Confirm, Receive and Reaffirm 12 candidates. Additionally, Bishop José will enjoy breakfast with us and speak to the parish during the Adult Forum hour. After the 10:30 we will have a reception in his honor and the new confirmands. Please put March 22nd on your calendar and come and see our Bishop!
 LET'S HELP TO FEED THE HUNGRY: ABCCM always needs food for the hungry and homeless, even in the springtime. To meet the growing needs Asheville-wide, we’re holding a food drive March 15-29. All canned foods (meats, chicken, fruits, vegetables) and canned soups are welcome, including those with no-salt and low-sugar.
ALL LENTEN PROGRAMS AT GRACE ARE POSTPONED
 REMEMBER YOUR GO BOX TO HELP ABCCM’s MEDICAL CLINIC MINISTRY SERVE THOSE IN NEED: Recently re-opened after the change in ownership at Mission Hospital, ABCCM’s Medical Ministry is up and running again. With the change you put in your GO box, you can help this ministry continue providing urgent care, medication assistance, and crisis dental care to nearly 4,000 indigent and homeless people in Buncombe County. We ask that you return your “gift to GO” on Palm Sunday, April 5th.
 CANCELLING YOUTH GROUP ACTIVITIES: After much thought, prayer and conversation I have decided to cancel all youth group activities starting this Sunday March 15th, until further notice. With the uncertainty of the Coronavirus, we will be playing it safe and not risk getting or transmitting the illness. It is my hope that we will be able to pick back up in April but only time will tell. Please continue to watch for emails for updates. In the meantime please let me know if I can support your families and youth in this time of uncertainty, worry and fear.

 5TH SUNDAY BRUNCH: Join us Sunday, March 29th AT 9:30 a.m. for our first Fifth Sunday Brunch of the year. This pot-luck brunch will take the place of our usual breakfast hour and will be held between services at 9:30 AM. Please bring your brunch items: breakfast casseroles, fruit, sweet rolls, etc. and join us in shared fellowship.
 WHO IS SERVING THIS SUNDAY AND NEXT: We appreciate that you have stepped forward to serve in our Lay Ministry. If you are scheduled to serve and can't make it, we cannot stress enough the importance of finding a replacement and contacting the Verger for that service (Chip Coon: 336-301-7114; James Cannon: 658-0641; Lorie Tola: 404-312-9345).
