Important Message from NBBC Leadership

NBBC is committed to acting with wisdom, while not making fear-based decisions. At this time, in keeping with NBBC’s Bad Weather and Emergency Situation Procedure, we are proceeding with a Yellow Light precaution protocol. This means that, while we are taking precautions, our events will continue but we advise each person to consider their own safety and respond appropriately at their own discretion. A change in our protocol will be communicated as per the procedure document.

Precautions we are taking:

At this point we are encouraging all people to restrain from hand shaking and hugging. Hand sanitizer is liberally available throughout the building along with sanitizing wipes for doorknobs and handles. We have purchased individually sealed communion and wafer elements for communion services. We are continuing to live stream our services on NBBC YouTube Channel. Those who do not feel it wise to attend are encouraged to watch and participate through live streaming on Sunday mornings at the regular time.

Pastoral encouragement:

Do not Fear. We recognize that we live in anxious times and fear is a dominant emotion. We encourage you to draw close to the love of God who drive out fear (1 John 4:18) and to equip yourself with truth by getting information from reliable sources like the government of Canada’s website. As well as Halton Regions Covid 19 page.

At times of crisis the church can serve as a light of hope. Be prepared to share that hope with others and continue to look for where God is at work, even in crisis, and how you might join Him.
