COVID-19
Greetings to all staying home and being responsible during these pandemic times. While we never dreamed of a situation like this and have been caught off-guard, our collective response to these unprecedented times saves lives and contains the viral spread.
The invisible has humbled many and changed the way we think, and interact with fellow human beings. Time they say reminds us of things we take for granted. The current challenging times has brought us together, and we will come out stronger than ever!
During these times our thought leaders with FBT have been working behind the scenes. We would like to acknowledge that your kind act of generosity is making real difference, in the lives of the deserved and the under privileged across the world.
We are grateful to you, and your every little act in kind or deed is greatly appreciated. Our collective contributions light up the lives of those we support.

Safe Passage
We proudly share in pictures the fruits of our philanthropic labor. A ventilation system has been installed at Safe Passage in Guatemala, and our onsite partners have shared with us "how transformational this improvement has been to the Centro Building. . . which is directly adjacent to the dump."
As FBT supporters you may recall, Safe Passage is a school and vocational training center that is located right next to one of the largest active garbage dumps in Guatemala. So shared a ninth grader at the local school, "The air conditioning and air purification system helps me to breathe better, and I keep my nose decongested. The environment feels more comfortable, and we have fresh air.”

Integral Heart Foundation
At the Integral Heart Foundation, also in Guatemala, your generous donations brought medical care to fifty individuals in January, twenty-seven of whom were children. In February, fifty-two additional individuals received much needed medical care, twenty-nine of whom were children.
Plans for the future clinics have been responsibly slowed down due to precautions against the spread of corona virus, but Integral Heart Foundation will resume clinics as soon as prudently possible.

FBT’s 2020 events revisited
As we dutifully comply with lockdown guidelines and as part of safety measures our yearly Summer Leadership Program YGC has been cancelled for 2020. Committee is working on a potential service project for Alumni. Stay tuned for more info to come...
The much awaited Annual Kite Fest will need some creative uplift and likely be a virtual event until social distancing measures are lifted. More to follow...
