Parkhouse Street redevelopment plans - Council local area study
Southwark Council commissioned a local area study on the Parkhouse Street redevelopment. Including the impact on Burgess Park.
The Gort Scott study is an overview across the four schemes. Read the report, comment by 13 April.

Southwark Nature Action Species, habitats and nature conservation Butterfly Conservation online training
Saturday 4 April 10.30 - 12.00am.
Find out about the butterflies in Burgess Park and learn how to monitor. Training led by Simon Saville, Butterfly Conservation. No previous knowledge needed. Book online training.
Project Duckling - Southwark Cleaner Greener Safer £4600 award thanks to Faraday ward councillors will:
improve the bankside and lake liner from deteriorating
improve the fencing and lakeside planting
plus a new island funded by the Mayor of London Greener City award £6564.
To involve Cobourg school and engage park users we will re-organise the project to take place later in 2020/21 (due to CV-19).
Burgess Sports 10k Run Fundraiser £15-£17 to support the work of the charity Burgess Sports included a new running club for Camberwell!

Southwark Council Old Kent Road Community Review Panel - Recruitment The panel will review planning applications and will provide independent advice to the council on how development can and should benefit people in the Old Kent Road area.
