NOTE ABOUT CLEANLINESS
There's been a lot of stress lately. To help ease a little worry from your minds, both the studios and myself had already been taking extra steps to deep clean and disinfect the spaces in which you’ve been dancing. This letter is an example of such efforts. I wanted to share this with you..
Dear Friends,
We are all aware of the concerns about the COVID-19 Corona virus. The Dance Center is being proactive in addressing those concerns because we all have a collective interest in minimizing risk and maintaining a healthy learning environment. The Dance Center intends to be honest, transparent and direct in dealing with this crisis and we want you to know all of the things we are doing to keep the studio environment safe.
• Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are available throughout the studio.
• Exterior and interior studio doors will be left open whenever possible to increase air circulation and minimize contact points.
• Every instructor will be emphasizing precautionary measures like washing hands and avoiding direct contact to all our dancers.
• We will be wiping down all contact surfaces in each studio after each class to minimize potential risks. This includes things like door handles, chair arms, barres and props.
• Choreographers will be minimizing any direct contact in individual performance pieces.
• Desk staff will continue to wipe down bathrooms and counters between classes.
I know this is all unprecedented. Let's all keep doing the best that we can. If things are extra difficult and you feel you need someone to reach out to, please let me know. I'm here for you.
