Greetings IRLL Families:

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, IRLL IS SUSPENDING ALL LEAGUE AND TEAM ACTIVITIES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Some of you may have seen the email from Little League International recommending a temporary suspension of activities until April 6th.  Several other youth sports organizations have made similar recommendations and/or suspensions or cancellations of team events.


At this time, the suspension of Little League activities is only recommended, not mandatory.  Little League International's recommendation is supported by both Western Region and District 55, both of which are governing bodies over Irvine Ranch Little League.


In an abundance of caution, IRLL is joining with all other leagues within District 55 in suspending all league and team activities (games, practices, batting cages, etc.) until we have more information to proceed safely and appropriately.  Please note that team activities includes team-related events even if they are not specifically baseball-related (e.g., parties, team dinners, etc.).


Fortunately, the recent rain, and additional rain in the forecast, means that most games and practices would have been cancelled for the foreseeable future anyway.


We are working closely with staff at District 55, Western Region, and Little League International as the COVID-19 continues to develop.  We will update you as soon as we have any information on a potential timeframe for the resumption of our season.
