Cancellation Notice: Secord Winter Festival

To our community members,

Today, Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health requested that event organizers cancel any gatherings that have more than 250 attendees as a precautionary and protective measure against COVID-19 (Coronavirus). This includes community events.

This direction, coupled with another unfortunate blast of cold winter weather scheduled for this weekend, has led your Secord Community League Board of Directors to a decision to cancel the Secord Winter Festival, which was scheduled for Saturday, March 14.

We have been looking forward to hosting our community members at a fun winter event since we started planning months ago, but unfortunately we can't proceed at this time.
