Agency operations update

During the novel coronavirus outbreak, the Australian government is seeking to minimise the outbreak’s impact on the health of Australians, our health system, and the economy. A key strategy in its approach is to reduce and slow disease transmission. We are also looking after our vulnerable people.

This means we’re moving to different work arrangements to help minimise the impact on critical and business as usual businesses processes. This includes moving face to face meetings to video and teleconference and only undertaking travel where it is essential. All staff have access to flexible working arrangements as needed.

The following upcoming events have been affected:
The Economist Space Summit has been cancelled.
The Space Foundation has postponed the 36th Space Symposium in Colorado.
Hosts of smaller events are also reviewing alternatives including video conferencing.
