ADELAIDE FRINGE BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR CLOSING WEEKEND!

The Federal Government is advising against 'non-essential, organised gatherings' of 500 people or more from Monday 16 March 2020

Under the advice of the Federal Government relating to the ongoing pandemic, Adelaide Fringe will continue to operate business as usual through until Sunday 15 March.

**Please note that Adelaide Fringe will not be providing any refunds or exchanges if consumers do not wish to attend an event due to fear of exposure to Coronavirus.

Live Performance Australia has advised that from 13th March, Adelaide Fringe should provide refunds or an exchange to any customer who may have recently returned from China, South Korea, Iran or Italy and have been advised to remain at home, or those customers who are from the aforementioned countries and are unable to enter Australia. Proof of travel documentation is required.

Adelaide Fringe will continue to monitor any updates and continue to act in accordance with further Government recommendations.

Adelaide Fringe strongly encourages everyone to practice good hygiene and wash hands often with soap and water and clean surfaces regularly with disinfectant.

The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee recommends that:
  • people that are unwell with cough or fever or other respiratory symptoms should not attend public events or gatherings
  • people who have been in close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19, or who returned from or transited through a listed higher risk country, must not attend public gatherings until 14 days after leaving the country or having contact with a confirmed case even if they are completely symptom free

Adelaide Fringe will continue to keep the public informed as updates become available - please check our website for up to date information.

More importantly, we understand the significant impact of COVID-19 in Australia and around the world that will affect each and every one of the Adelaide Fringe community and the broader Arts, Entertainment, Events & Festival industry. Please take care of each other, be kind, and utilise the resources and support services like The Arts Wellbeing Collective, which are available to you for any help or advice.
