1337 Gallery 100 years of Freedom March 6 – April 17, 2020 Reception: April 10, 5–8pm
100 Years of Freedom honors the centennial anniversary of women’s right to vote in the United States with artwork that explores the concept of freedom. This exhibition brings together diverse expressions of freedom.
I highly recommend it. This is a juried show with works from 26 artists. The show is beautifully installed and a joy to see.
There are exhibitions in five more galleries throughout AWD including one from Tam High photography students called The Women We've Become. . . MORE
Sad to say I won't be in my studio for a while. I've come to terms with the fact that during our current global health emergency, I'm in the most vulnerable age group and plan to practice"social distancing" for the duration. I'll miss you.
In the meanwhile, I am having a wonderful time going through my 10,000 to 20,000 photographs taken over the span of almost seventy years!! It is an incredible way to revisit one's life. Remember when we used to keep scrapbooks? This is much better.
For my new Instagram page, I'm curating what I consider to be the best of the art, travel and a few personal images to share with you. Many images have never been seen before.
Please visit and follow my newInstagram. I'll be posting almost daily. Don't miss the photos' captions. Some have stories to go with them.
If you have a specific need in my studio, I will be happy to make an appointment to meet you there.
In the meanwhile, Please be cautious. We're all in for a new adventure. Stay Healthy -- and Happy!. ~ Ann
