Coronavirus (COVID-19) Planning - 13th March 2020

In response to the ongoing concerns surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have implemented an action plan to ensure we are able to continue business operations with minimal disruption whilst protecting our staff and the public. The health, wellbeing and safety of our employees, partners and our wider stakeholders is of our highest priority and we continue to follow guidance and advice from the Scottish and UK Governments, the NHS and the World Health Organisation.

As a result, we are reviewing our business continuity plans to ensure continuity of service during this period. We have put the following measures in place:

  • Regular communication plan to all staff, customers, suppliers and partners
  • Promotion of good hand hygiene in the Improvement Service office
  • Provision of anti-bacterial hand sanitisers within the Improvement Service office
  • Display of prominent information and guidance within the Improvement Service office
  • Regular cleaning and disinfection of frequently touched objects and surfaces such as telephones, keyboards, door handles, desks and tables
  • Testing of remote working of all employees
  • Instruction to staff to self-isolate for 7 days if showing mild coronavirus symptoms

With immediate effect, all visitors to the Improvement Service will be required to confirm:

  • That they are not experiencing flu-like symptoms – cough, fever, shortness of breath
  • Whether or not they have travelled to any Category 1 or Category 2 areas within the last 14 days or had close contact with anyone who has
  • Whether or not they have come into contact with anyone who has tested positive for the virus

If a visitor confirms any of the above they will not be granted access to our office.

We appreciate your understanding and co-operation during this period and will continue to monitor the situation closely and inform you of any changes to our plans as the situation develops.
