We have been given the opportunity to reschedule SPAC for a later time of the year in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The SPAC planning team is working with the venue and our partner hotel to finalize the new dates, and we hope to have the details completed in the next day or two.
The target dates for rescheduling SPAC 2020 are Tuesday and Wednesday, September 1-2, 2020. The venue will be the same—the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center (CEPAC) in northwest Atlanta.
Although these dates are not final, we want to let you know as soon as possible what we are working on. As soon the details around the new dates are firm, we will send out an update and post the new information on the SPAC website.
Registration for SPAC will remain open until we get close to the new SPAC dates, and the Early Bird discounted rates will remain in effect throughout the registration window.
Although there are many unknowns ahead for all of us with regard to the public health crisis, we believe that the extra five months allowed by this targeted date will better position everyone to deal with issues related to travel and participating in large gatherings.
